Today marks my last day on Student Staff with Young Life. The past 15 months have been nothing short of incredible. God has taught me so many lessons and allowed me to see His Presence in so many new ways. The friendships and conversations along the way are ones that I deeply cherish. The vessel of Young Life transformed my life in high school, so I’m grateful for the opportunities I’ve had to simply show up and love my friends well. This experience had its share of challenges, but there was so much beauty in it, too. God doesn’t fit in boxes or molds or expectations and will do far greater things than we could ever conceive. I have learned to expect the unexpected from God because He’ll make the impossible things possible.

To those who supported me either in prayer or financial contributions, thank you! Thank you for trusting me and allowing me to have this opportunity to grow by investing in the lives of kids in Cleveland! To Jared & Flippo, thank you for walking alongside of me throughout this journey & helping me grow! To my YL kids, y’all are the best! I’ve learned so much from you guys this year and can’t wait to continue being your friend and a volunteer leader.

While leaving staff today is a bittersweet feeling, I’m full of deep joy & gratitude in all the ways I’ve grown, all the stories I’ve experienced, and all the relationships I’ve built! This has been a dream and I’m expectant for the ways the Lord will continue to move and for new opportunities with YL in the future! I’m so blessed that He would choose me and my brokenness to be a light for Jesus’ love for high school kids! ☺️❤️
